Steve Metzger
Steve attended the University of Texas where he received his B.A. in 2000 and his J.D. in 2004. While attending the University of Texas School of Law, Steve worked for Texas Supreme Court Justice Harriet O'Neill. He conducted research and wrote study memos regarding cases pending before the Supreme Court for Justice O'Neill. Steve also studied in Hamburg, Germany where he completed the Bucerius Law School Program on International and Comparative Business Law in 2003.
Steve worked as a law clerk for Engvall & Hlavinka following his second year at the University of Texas School of Law. He joined the firm as an associate following his graduation in 2004.
Steve has successfully resolved cases involving a wide range of areas and claims. He has obtained court dismissals for his clients in cases ranging from allegations of property damage to claims for negligence which ultimately resulted in death. Steve primarily works on cases involving severe injury and death, fire/explosions, construction defects, property damage, product liability and insurance coverage disputes.
